Jack brings to the table a wealth of business experience in Retail Management & Distribution Management in both soft and hard lines with extensive experience in the garment and flooring industry as well as the full service travel industry, prior to and during his entering the insurance business 41 years ago with John Hancock Financial Service and now with his own practice with the Nephi Group. Jack, in the past has taught insurance classes for both the Underwriters Training Council and Wake Technical Institute and has earned the designation of Life Underwriting Training Council Fellow. Jack also does private consulting for individuals, and businesses seeking to enter the Medicare Advantage market in North Carolina.
Jack as an Independent Agent represents multiple insurance companies and works with all age groups (NO ONE IS UNINSURABLE) dealing with life insurance and health coverages, specializing in coverages for individuals on Social Security who also need dental and vision coverage. He also works with individuals concerned about Asset Preservation through the use of annuities to contractually guarantee safety of retirement assets and the earnings of those assets. Jack services primarily clients in Buncombe, Durham, Franklin, Johnston and Wake Counties, however he is licensed state wide and has clients from Wilmington to Asheville and all areas in between. Jack is a Korean Era Navy Veteran having served on the USS Douglas A Munro DE422 off the coast of Korea and later a stint with the NC National Guard at Military Headquarters in Raleigh NC.
